CHAIRTABLE TRUST

The trust was established by resolution adopted on November 14, 1969, at the annual convention held in Santa Barbara, California. The trust was established for the purpose of promoting the health, welfare, happiness, development and education of young people in the State of California who are interested in horse activities and for the purpose of promoting research and education regarding horses.

Originally, this took the form of scholarships offered through our Horsemastership Program. Presently the Trust additionally includes funds for the UC Davis Veterinary Scholarship and our Royalty and Stock Team Programs, as well as a fund for Medical Research and scholarship funds for two of our Regions.

These funds are not self-sustaining and require public support in order to continue. How can you help?

• Plan a Region or Club function and donate all or a portion of your profit to the fund of your choice.
• Make a direct donation to the fund of your choice in honor/memory of a friend or family member. Donations can be as small as $5 and as large as ….. well, we don't know any organization that would put a cap on donations so we won't either.
