CSHA's Trails Program

Riding a good trail horse is one of the best ways to enjoy the wide-open country of California-more than 156,000 square miles, much of it unfenced, rolling hills and rugged mountains.
CSHA's Trail Program serves as a voice for our members in the ongoing effort to keep California's trails open and usable. We keep horsemen informed as to any Trail Legislation either favorable or adverse, serve on many policy making committees representing our members, and work TIRELESSLY to ensure that equestrians do not lose the right to trail use and enjoyment.
Contact the State Trails Chair with issues in your area.  However equestrians are strongly encouraged to get involved with trail and open space issues at the local level.  You know the area and can address any potential problems.  The State Trails Chair will advise and assist you as necessary.
