Junior Miss CSHA 2008

Hello Everyone! My name is Alexandra Urban, but everyone calls me "Tula." I am your 2008 Junior Miss and I am excited to serve C.S.H.A and get the word out about our great organization and its accomplishments!

I am currently in the 7th grade attending Britton Junior High School in Morgan Hill. I am very active in athletics. I am on a Class 1 traveling soccer team call the Orchard Valley Storm where I play center midfield. I also run cross-country, track, and play volleyball for my school. In my spare time (Ha! Ha!) I participate in the San Martin 4h club. I am a Jr. Teen Leader in the Horse project and a member of the Leadership and Market Goat projects. In 2007, my market goat won Supreme Grand Champion for the Santa Clara County Fair!

Horses are also a big part of my life. Royal Classic Jet or "Dixie" as I like to call her is a 9-year-old A.Q.H.A. mare off the racetrack. She is an all around horse that I compete with in English flat, Western, and am now learning to jump. She will be my parade horse this year as I represent CSHA at events.

I look forward to serving you and CSHA this coming year and thank you for the honor and title of Jr. Miss! Just remember Eleanor Roosevelt's famous quote…..The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
