CALIFORNIA STATE HORSEMEN'S ASSOCIATION
DRILL TEAM COMPETITION

The 2010 CSHA DT competition will take place on Saturday and Sunday May 15 and 16, 2010 at the Diamond Bar Arena in Ceres.

We have made minor changes to the rules for 2010 to include adding additional competition classes: Color Guard & Compulsory Division.  Check out the CSHA Rule book link and print out Drill Team rules for more information.

The CSHA competition is for all categories of drill teams from advanced to novice.  And with the new competition categories, there will be more opportunities for a team to win trophies and ribbons.

For the short programs, CSHA uses the same maneuvers as the Reno Rodeo Drill Team Competition.  The added maneuvers for 2010 are:  Diamond Cross, Double Wedding Ring, and Liberty Gate or Donut.
As in the past, teams will be competing for the ribbons and trophies, and the high point champion will also receive a CSHA championship flag.
In case you have not heard, there will be a Grand National Rodeo at the Cow Palace in October 2010, and it will include a drill team competition and color guard competition.
